“How wonderful it would be if we could try everything. I’m serious, let’s make a list and just begin.”
This is the opening phrase in one of the enneagram personality songs by Sleeping at Last. While trying everything is not a specific passion of ours, going everywhere is. Emily is frequently heard saying “I want to know everything!” This is purely because Emily is a student of history, science and life in general. We have come to the conclusion that there is no better way to know everything than to go everywhere and experience life to the fullest!
First on our list of everywhere is (drum roll please), Europe! Woo Hoo! Yay! Fantastic! One week from tomorrow Emily and I, along with our parents and brother and sister-in-law, will board a great big metal bird and fly to Paris, France where we will begin our adventure! In total we will visit six countries, including a layover in Dublin Ireland, and will stay in ten different cities.
Our goal is to catalog our adventures and to share them with our loved ones back home using this handy little thing we call the internet. Our posts will include LOTS of pictures of fantastic destinations as well as our family’s lovely faces. Emily and I will be tag-team writing posts so don’t get too excited when Emily starts writing because I will be back! Please follow along and share this adventure with us. Seven days and counting!
